This Bricklet is deprecated. Is has been replaced by the RGB LED Bricklet 2.0. It is currently sold off with a large discount, but only as long as stock lasts.
The RGB LED Bricklet can be used to extend the features of Bricks with the capability to control a RGB LED. Each of the three channels (red, green, blue) can be controlled individually with 8 bit resolution.
Because of a lack of attention on our part the RGB LED Bricklet with hardware version 1.0 was produced with a width of 17.5mm. It is thus unfortunately not in our standard 5mm grid. This will be fixed with version 1.1. Because of this we are selling hardware verison 1.0 for half the price.
